This inaugural one-day WDC Satellite Summit will explore the public policy response to the challenge of dementia in Latin America and the Caribbean. Given the rapidly ageing population, policymakers need to urgently address the challenges dementia presents. The 2025 WDC Satellite Summit will challenge participants to think boldly and offer solutions from prevention, to research and care and ask how advocacy can help secure those advances

Prior to the WDC Satellite Summit, the WDC will hold three virtual roundtables to inform a discussion paper to be published ahead of the Satellite Summit.
